The famous Predigtstuhlbahn cable car, built in 1928, is considered to be the oldest original large-cabin cable car in the world. Float safely up Bad Reichenhall's local mountain, the Predigtstuhl, which is around 1,600 m high.

The Predigtstuhlbahn is the world's only listed and oldest original large-cabin cable car. Since July 1, 1928, it has connected the town of Bad Reichenhall with the Predigtstuhl and offers spectacular views of the alpine surroundings. At the top, visitors can enjoy a rustic alpine hut, a gourmet restaurant with a coffee terrace and hiking trails for all abilities.
